Yusuke Kafuku, a stage actor and director, still unable, after two years, to cope with the loss of his beloved wife, accepts to direct " Uncle Vanja " at a theater festival in Hiroshima. There he meets Misaki, an introverted young woman, appointed to drive his car. In between rides, secrets from the past and heartfelt confessions will be unveiled.
Ryusuke Hamaguchi
Nasceu em 1978. Seu filme Passion (2008) foi exibido no Festival de Cinema de San Sebastian. Happy Hour (2015) estreou em Locarno. Asako I e II foi selecionado para a competição em Cannes em 2018 e Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy ganhou o Urso de Prata em Berlim em 2021. Ele também escreveu o roteiro de Wife of a Spy, vencedor do Leão de Prata em Veneza em 2020.
