Eugenio and Santiago are partners and longtime friends. One day, Eugene disappears without a trace. Santiago soon notices his absence, but only realizes the seriousness of the problem when Laura, his friend's wife, hopeless, tells him that Eugenio left her. Together they set off to Brazil to try and understand his disappearance. But gradually the feelings between them get mixed.
