​In the Argentinian city of Tucumán, Miguel makes a
living as a motochorro, a thief who snatches people's belongings from his motorcycle. When stealing Elena’s, an old woman, he ends up hurting her badly. After the brutal incident, Miguel is plagued by guilt and can't get his victim out of his mind. In an attempt to do the right thing, he conceals his true identity and starts looking after the injured and unsuspecting Elena. The closer he gets to her, the more he becomes entangled in his own lies. A drama with the backdrop of the 2013 police strike, when Tucumán was seized by chaos and violence.​

Agustín Toscano

​Born in 1981 in San Miguel de Tucumán. He is an actor, screenwriter and theatre and film director. He studied in the National University of Tucumán and School of Cinema, Video and TV of the University of Tucumán. His first feature film, The Owners (2013), co-directed by Ezequiel Radusky, premiered at the 52nd Cannes Festival Critics’ Week in 2013, where it received the Jury Special Mention.​
