Elsa lived her last 60 years dreaming of a great love, like in La Dolce Vita, by Fellini. Fred, a little younger than her feels upset and confused after losing his wife. He moves to a smaller apartment where he meets Elsa. From there, everything changes. She explodes into his life like a whirlwind determined to teach him that the time he has left is precious. Fred surrenders to her youthfulness and audacity, and so, learns how to live. American remake of the Argentine film by the same name, with Shirley MacLaine and Christopher Plummer. Michael Radford
Nasceu em 1946 em Nova Deli, na Índia. Graduou-se pela faculdade de Worcester, na Universidade de Oxford, e integrou a turma inaugural da National Film and Television School, na Inglaterra. Trabalhou como documentarista para projetos da BBC e dirigiu longas-metragens como O mercador de Veneza (2004) e Um plano brilhante (2007). Foi indicado ao Oscar de melhor direção por O carteiro e o poeta (1995), vencedor do BAFTA de melhor filme.
