A young filmmaker who visits his home town is surprised by the rapid advance of the pandemic and needs to find his father, with whom he has not spoken for more than ten years. After their first meeting, strange things begin to happen. Awarded at Tribeca Festival and selected for San Sebastián Festival 2023.
Guto Parente
Director, scriptwriter and editor, Guto Parente (Fortaleza, 1983) was a member of Alumbramento collective (2008–2016) and is a partner of Tardo Films. He has made seven shorts, like Dizem que os Cães Veem Coisas (2012, Locarno), and ten features — among others Road to Ythaca (2010, BAFICI), Os Monstros (2011, BAFICI/ Special Mention), The Mysterious Death of Pérola (2014, IFFR), My Own Private Hell (2018, IFFR) and The Cannibal Club (2018, IFFR).
