Gloria Polk, a bitter, decadent writer, finally decides to open up her house and grant an interview to Carol, a young journalist who lives in her building, in order to talk about her return to literature following a long drought. A film about women, the difficulties in relationships, growing old and writers’ maddening creative process.

A film graduate at the Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation – FAAP, he has directed, starred in and scripted the following works: Artifícios (2001), Produto descartável (2003), Doce amargo (2009) and Manual para atropelar cachorro (2005). With this last film he received 26 awards, both in Brazil and abroad, in several categories, including the Grand Prize of Brazilian Cinema.
