Eric is 10 years old and goes to live with his father who he barely knows. Gabriel, who occasionally works as a carpenter and can hardly support himself, now needs to build a relationship with his son amidst financial difficulties and an eviction order. Out of compassion, one of his few clients, Maria Isabel, invites the small family to spend Christmas in her luxurious condominium. But soon the tensions between the owners and their guests appear. Nasceu em 1983 em Bogotá, na Colômbia. Estudou cinema em La Fémis, em Paris, e em 2006 dirigiu o seu primeiro curta, Como todo el mundo, vencedor do grande prêmio no Festival de Clermont-Ferrand 2008. Rodri, seu segundo trabalho, ganhou exibição em diversas mostras internacionais, incluindo a Quinzena dos Realizadores, em Cannes 2012. Gente de bem é seu primeiro longa-metragem.
