Richard Linklater
American director and writer born in 1960, became known for films with a strong emphasis on dialogue and observations of daily life. He became known with Dazed and Confused (1993), followed by the famous, Before Sunrise (1995), which initiated a trilogy and won him a Silver Lion in Berlin, a prize he won again with Boyhood (2014). He also directed Waking Life (2001) and School of Rock (2003).
