While searching desperately for his missing daughter detective Danny Rourke (Ben Affleck) finds himself entangled in a string of reality-bending crimes. In the process he faces a series of strange events which lead him to question everything. Counting on the support of Diana Cruz (Alice Braga), a woman with psychic powers , Rourke follows the traces of a man he believes has the answers to find his daughter, but ends up coming across surprising and dangerous revelations. Robert Rodriguez
Director, scriptwriter and producer, Robert Rodriguez was born in the USA in 1968. His interest for cinema began when he was still a teenager, filming amateur productions in VHS. He won fame with El Mariachi (1992), a low-budget production which gained the sequels Desperado (1995) and Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003). He collaborated with Quentin Tarantino on From Dusk to Dawn (1996) and Grindhouse (2007).
