Massimo and Paolo are two brothers with opposite personalities who follow different paths. One is a lawyer and the other a paediatrician. Their wives also have a hard time getting along. Despite their differences the couples keep up an old family tradition of meeting once a month in a fancy restaurant. They find conversations topics such as; salted anchovies with ricotta or a fashionable French film and a fruity wine. On one of these evenings they begin to suspect that their children did something terrible and the family find themselves in a traumatic situation.
