Born in New York of Hungarian parents. She graduate in film at NYU and worked as a restorer and theater actress before going into films. An important cinematographer in the independent filmmaking scene, she has recently been collaborating with actor James Franco. She directed the documentary The Ladies (2007). In 2013, she presented The Director at the Tribeca Film Festival, a film that will also be presented this year at Rio Film Festival.
