Successful architect Alexandre goes to Italy to work on a book accompanied by his wife Alienor, who feels their relationship is slipping away. In Stresa, they meet Goffredo, a future architect student, and his sister Lavinia, suffering from a nervous disorder. While Alienor stays with Lavinia, Alexandre continues on his travels with Goffredo. The separation will be the start of a new journey for the couple. A love story that develops in parallel amid architecture and artistic inspiration. The title refers to the Church of St. Yves at La Sapienza, in Rome. Locarno and Toronto 2014.
Eugène Green
Nasceu em 1947 em Nova York. Naturalizado na França, trabalhou por décadas lecionando artes dramáticas em sua companhia de teatro barroco, a La Sapience. Em 2001, dirigiu seu primeiro longa-metragem, Toutes les nuits. De sua filmografia, destacam-se O mundo vivente, vencedor do prêmio FIPRESCI no Festival de Londres 2003, Memories, ganhador do prêmio do júri no Festival de Locarno 2007, e A religiosa portuguesa (2009).
