In a remote area on the coast of Veracruz, 17-year-old Sebastián, starts to run his uncle’s little, cosy rent-by-the-hour motel on his own. It is a motel that is frequently visited by adulterous couples. There he’ll meet Miranda, a 35 year old woman who goes to the motel to meet Mario, her rich lover. Mario is always late and Miranda always waits patiently. During this spare time, Sebastián and Miranda share their solitude and desires, giving rise to fleeting game of seduction between them.

Nasceu no México. É mestre em estudos cinematográficos pela Universidade de Paris – Sorbonne. Atualmente, vive em São Paulo, trabalhando como roteirista, diretor e produtor entre o Brasil e o México. Em 2007 dirigiu seu primeiro longa, Partes usadas, exibido no Festival do Rio. Seu segundo filme, As horas mortas, foi escrito durante a residência artística na Cannes Cinéfondation. Para a televisão, dirigiu cinco episódios da série Alguien más.
