Actor, screenwriter, and director born in 1965 in Israel, Yvan Attal grew up in Paris. His first feature as a director was My Wife Is an Actress (2001), co-starring his wife Charlotte Gainsbourg. He then directed Happily Ever After (2004), Do Not Disturb (2012), Le Brio (2017), and My Dog Stupid (2019).
