É jornalista e repórter do jornal A Nova Democracia. Em 2010, começou a desenvolver e publicar reportagens em vídeo sobre violações de direitos humanos nas favelas do Rio de Janeiro. Nos anos seguintes, em especial a partir de 2013, os vídeos passaram a repercutir internacionalmente. Em 2017, dirigiu o curta-metragem Terra e sangue: bastidores do massacre de Pau D’Arco. Este é seu primeiro longa.
