Thomas Vinterberg
Born in Denmark in 1969. He was a co-founder of the Dogme 95 movement. According to the manifesto’s rules, he had his first international success, with in The Celebration (1998), which won the Grand Jury Prize at Cannes and the audience award at Rotterdam Film Festival. Submarino (2010) was shown at the Berlin Film Festival. The Hunt won the Ecumenical Jury Prize in Cannes in 2012, as well as a nomination for the Oscar for best foreign film.
