After her parent’s separation, Caro, an 8-year-old girl, goes to live with her mother and new step-father, Felipe. Her mother makes it clear that she will never see her father again but Caro doesn’t think about anything else other that his return. Feeling abandoned she seeks refuge near the well in the backyard of her house, a secret imaginary place. When she grows up, distant from her mother, she discovers a secret about her father that will change her relationship with the past forever. Screened at Rome Film Festival 2013.
Michael Rowe
Nasceu em 1971 na Austrália. É formado em língua inglesa pela Universidade La Trobe, em Melbourne. Depois de iniciar sua carreira como poeta e dramaturgo, mudou-se para o México, onde vive até hoje se dedicando também ao cinema. Em 2006, dirigiu seu primeiro curta, Cacahuates, e em 2010, seu primeiro longa, Año bisiesto, vencedor da Caméra d'Or no Festival de Cannes 2010.
