Sophie, a young German photographer, trades her apartment with a student based in Marseille, France. It is February and Marseille looks like a rough town. Alone, Sophie immerses herself in the city, and takes photos. At a garage, she asks young Pierre to get her a car. Two days later, they meet up again and spend the evening at a bar, charmed by each other’s mysteries. When Sophie returns to Berlin, she is immediately taken by her old life: her love from Ivan, her best friend’s husband, still dominates her. But then she decides to go to Marseille for a second time.
