Diane is a widow who is always in a bad mood. A single mother she is overloaded with the full time care of Steve, her 15-year-old son who has ADHD. While they try to survive and manage this unpredictable situation, Kyla, a girl who lives on the other side of the street, offers to help. Together, the three find a new balance and hope returns. From the director Xavier Dolan (I Killed My Mother, Heartbeats, Laurence Anyways), the film won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Festival 2014.
Xavier Dolan
Nasceu em 1989 em Montreal. Começou a carreira como ator mirim aos 5 anos e dirigiu seu primeiro longa aos 19, Eu matei a minha mãe (2009), exibido na Quinzena dos Realizadores de Cannes e em Roterdã. Seguiram-se Amores imaginários (2010), exibido na mostra Um Certo Olhar de Cannes e em Roterdã, Laurence Anyways (2012), também exibido na mostra Um Certo Olhar, e Tom à la ferme (2013), selecionado para Veneza, onde ganhou o prêmio FIPRESCI.
