Ten years after Mondovino, a controversial documentary about the wine industry in the face of globalization, the oenologist, expert and columnist returns to his favorite subject. In walks through Italian vineyards and relaxed gatherings, a group of local alternative producers share their experiences. What looks like a bucolic paradise, where wine is produced according to organic methods, is actually revealed to be a battleground between small associations and the agricultural industry. Jonathan Nossiter
Nasceu em 1961 nos Estados Unidos. Antes de se dedicar ao teatro e ao cinema, estudou artes plásticas na escola de belas artes de Paris. Entre seus trabalhos mais conhecidos, estão Mondovino (2004) e Rio Sex Comedy (2010). Além de cineasta, Nossiter é sommelier e já desenvolveu cartas de vinho para restaurantes de Nova York, Paris e Rio de Janeiro, além de escrever artigos para a New York Magazine, O Globo e Wine & Food.
