Zeca tries to get up early everyday to get the bus and arrive at the neighbouring town's school, where he works as librarian, an hour and a half later. Waking up early, is ever more difficult: something prevents him from maintaining this routine. One day Zeca gets to know Luisa.

Graduated in History and in Cinema, he is a founding partner of the production company Filmes de Plástico. His first feature film, Ela Volta na Quinta (2014), premiered at the FID Marseille festival and won the Special Jury Prize at BAFICI in Buenos Aires. He wrote and directed Temporada, which premiered at Locarno Festival in 2017 and won the Best Film Award in Brasilia. O Dia que Te Conheci is his third feature film.
