O Melhor lugar do mundo é agora is a film which uses the proposition of acting itself, the play between real and fiction, to imagine a world in which isolation has made art impossible and the artist, futile. As it also uses the impossibilities themselves of these fundamental propositions to carry out each and every audiovisual work, because of the isolation imposed by the pandemic, to create a portrait of an era in which cinema itself is impossible and art in general, extinct.
