In 1979 Magal, one of Brazil’s most celebrated popular artists, is following his routine of rehearsals and commitments in Salvador. When he meets the gorgeous Magali, during a TV show, he falls fatally in love. To win her heart he will have to face the resistance of his passionate manager, Jean Pierre, as well as the distrust of family, friends and the object of his love herself. With a soundtrack of Magal’s greatest hits, the film recounts the ups and downs of the explosive passion that transforms this couple's life forever.
