Daniel is 25. He is a student and a writer. Although he has never been with a boy, Daniel is a pedophile. How does a man who cannot act on his desires content himself with sexual fantasies and medication to suppress his feelings? This film traces Daniel’s fight to accept himself. As we watch simple images of Daniel at the hairdresser or taking his mother’s dog for a walk, he reveals how he leads with his repressed desires and his attempts to live a full life. Veronika Lišková
Born in 1982 in Prague, Czech Republic. He graduated in cultural studies from Charles University and in scriptwriting and drama from the Prague Academy of Performing Arts. He was editor-in-chief of the magazine Novy Prostor, a fortnightly publication sold by homeless people. He currently works as a training chief at the Prague Institute of Documentary Cinema. This is his first feature film.
