This is the story of Haru, a very lazy girl who gets to school late every day. One beautiful day, on the way home, Haru saves a cat from being run over. As a thank you, the little cat stands up on its hind legs and speaks. Terrified, the girl runs home. When night falls, she hears strange sounds at her window. She can’t believe it when she sees a huge court of cats approaching, led by the King of the Cats, who came to thank her for having saved his son. As a reward, the King of the Cats promises miracles for the girl the following day.
Hiroyuki Morita
Nasceu em 1964, em Fukuoka, no Japão. Trabalhou como animador em projetos como Akira (1988), mas é mais conhecido por seus trabalhos no Studio Ghibli, mais especificamente pela direção de O reino dos gatos (2002). Foi responsável por grande parte da animação de filmes como Meus vizinhos, os Yamadas (1999) e O serviço de entregas da Kiki (1989).
