In Vitoria, at the beginning of 1983, a group of young LGBTQIA+ celebrates the New Year with no idea of what is on the horizon. Biologist Suzano knows that something very terrible is beginning to disrupt his body. Despair faced with the lack of information and the uncertain future approximates Suzano with transexual artist Rose and videomaker Humberto, also ill. Together they will try to survive the first epidemic of AIDS.

Rodrigo de Oliveira é diretor, roteirista e montador, nascido em Volta Redonda (RJ), em 1985, e radicado no Espírito Santo desde 2001. Vencedor do Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro pelo documentário Todos os Paulos do mundo (codirigido por Gustavo Ribeiro, 2018). Dirigiu ainda As horas vulgares (codirigido por Vitor Graize, 2011) e Teobaldo morto, Romeu exilado (2015).
