Jim and Lucy are a couple who manage a commune in the suburbs of New Jersey. All the inhabitants are recovering addicts and together try to remain free of drugs and alcohol through therapy and improvised games. Although diverse, the group manages to live in peace, without much conflict. However, the fragile harmony of the community is cruelly broken when Ann arrives. The powerful presence of the new resident makes the old residents spiral out of control, full of paranoia, drugs and, eventually, death, Rotterdam Film Festival 2015.
Nathan Silver
Nasceu nos Estados Unidos. Cresceu no Brooklyn e gradou-se em 2005 pela Tisch School of The Arts, em Nova York. Dirigiu os curtas Natalie Bonn (2006), With or Without Reason (2007) e Anecdote (2008). Estreou na direção de longas em 2009 com The Blind, exibido no Festival de Turim. Dirigiu ainda Exit Elena (2012), Soft in the Head (2013) e Uncertain Terms (2014), todos exibidos no BAFICI.
