In 1921, a 20-year-old Peggy Guggenheim set off from New York to Paris with her fortune. Quickly she became close to Parisian bohemians, making friends such as Jean Cocteau, Duchamp and Man Ray, amongst many other modern artists. Visionary and in love with art, she began what would become one of the most important art collections of the 20th Century. The documentary tells of her brave journey; her patronage of artists such as Pollock; her relationships – sometimes romantic – with masters such as Max Ernst and Samuel Beckett; and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice. Logo depois, abriu duas marcas, Pratico, uma linha de roupas esportivas para mulheres, e Mago, uma coleção de peças e cashmere desenhadas por ela. É consultora de vários nomes da moda italianos. Para o cinema, dirigiu Diana Vreeland: o olhar tem que viajar (2011), exibido nos festivais de Veneza e do Rio.
