Davide is a different guy from other teenagers: something about him makes people think he’s a girl. At 14, tormented by his father, he runs away from home and decides to take refuge in Villa Bellini, a park in the region of Catania. The park is a world in itself, ignored by the people of the city and populated by marginalised characters. One day however, Davide’s past catches up with him and he needs to make the hardest decision of his life, this time, totally alone. Screened at Critic’s Week at Cannes Festival 2014.
Sebastiano Riso
Nasceu em 1983 na Itália. Trabalhou na indústria cinematográfica italiana por oito anos, em funções como diretor de produção e assistente de direção de filmes como I vicerè (2007), de Roberto Faenzo, e a série de TV Il comissario Montalbano (2008), antes de formar-se em cinema pela Academia de Belas Artes de Roma. Este filme marca sua estreia como diretor e roteirista de longas-metragens.
