Strange things are happening in the depths of a Danish hospital. The anguished spirit of a little girl can be heard crying in the elevator shaft, while a phantom ambulance circulates through the streets of Copenhagen every night. Secret societies meet at the gate, while the staff meet in the nondescript wings, so absorbed in their own insignificant grievances that they remain unaware of the evil awakening which is preparing to undermine the building.
Morten Arnfred e Lars von Trier
Morten Arnfred was born in Denmark and received an Honourable Mention at the Berlinale with the film Land of Plenty (1983). Another notable work of his is The Russian Singer (1993). Lars von Trier is a Danish film director and screenwriter. Associated with the Dogme 95, he is known as a big provocateur. Among many prizes, he is the recipient of the Palme d'Or for Dancer in the Dark (2000), which also earned him an Oscar nomination.
