​Han is a criminal on the run who, finding himself cornered by the obsessed detective Lok, makes an extreme decision: he shoots himself to force the police to take him to the hospital. There, he refuses treatment, hoping his gang will come to his rescue. But Zhau, the young surgeon treating Lok, does everything to fulfill her medical duty.
