Sarah, a young middle-distance runner, is invited to join the best university athletics program in Canada. For that, she will have to go to Montréal and leave behind the city she was born in, in the Quebecois suburbs. Her mother, worried mostly about her health, is not willing to aid her financially. Determined, Sarah leaves for her new life alongside friend Antoine, but her expectations are not fulfilled. Sarah does not wish to hurt anyone, but running is, and will be, her priority.
