The life of a bookseller, a melancholic and aspiring writer, is shaken by an enigmatic woman who steals in his bookstore. Soon he becomes entangled in the mystery of a delusional and obsessive love. This film explores the alienating effect of love and the liberating power of forgiveness. Based on the work of Rodrigo Rey Rosa. Shown at the Locarno Film Festival 2017.

Diretor de cinema e teatro, é um dos fundadores da Sutil Companhia. Ao longo de sua carreira, recebeu mais de 200 prêmios e indicações no Brasil. Em 2009, dirigiu seu primeiro filme, Insolação, cuja estreia ocorreu no Festival de Veneza. Em 2013, lançou A menina sem qualidades, minissérie criada para a MTV.
