​Jung-su is driving home. On the way, something unthinkable happens: a tunnel collapses trapping him in the rubble. The episode generates a frenzy in the local media and a reporter is able to interview Jung-su over the phone. In a few days, a number of elementary errors by the rescue team place him in even more danger, now without food, water, and incommunicable. The days go by, searches do not progress and people begin to lose hope, while his family is forced to make a difficult decision, not knowing whether Jung-su is dead or alive.
