The Director takes the viewer from model selection to the magic of Cinecittà, unveiling Giannini’s - Tom Ford’s successor at the helm of the company and the woman responsible for returning the brand to its roots - creative universe. The documentary goes beyond the runway universe, focusing on the stylist’s artistic view, her work process, her creative influences, all the while registering the mark Giannini is leaving on a male-dominated industry. Christina Voros
Born in New York of Hungarian parents. She graduate in film at NYU and worked as a restorer and theater actress before going into films. One of the major directors of photography in indie film-making, she has recently collaborated with actor James Franco. She directed the documentary The Ladies (2007). In 2013, she competed at Sundance with kink, which will also be presented at this edition of Rio Film Festival.
