Duncan is a 14 year old boy. During summer vacation, he gets a job at a local waterpark where he meets Owen, a carefree employee. Owen acts as his mentor and ally, so that the young man can finally develop his own voice and build up the courage to face up to his mom Pam and her irascible boyfriend Trent. While the grownups try to deal with their own fears and solitude, it is up to the teenager to try and find, all by himself, a way of growing up. This bittersweet comedy marks the directorial debut of the writing duo that penned The Descendant. Sundance Film Festival 2013.

Nat Faxon was born in the US, in 1975. In Los Angeles, He started his career as an actor in films and television series such as Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007) and Bad Teacher (2011). Jim Rash was born in the US, in 1970. He was an actor in series such as That '70s Show and CSI, and films such as Sky High (2005) and Balls of Fire (2007). As a team, they penned Alexander Payne’s The Descendants (2011), for which they won an Academy Award.
