Qohen Leth is a computer genius living in a world dominated by great corporations. Suffering deep existential angst, he takes orders from a shadowy figure referred to only as “Management”. His mission is solving The Zero Theorem, a mathematical formula that will finally reveal life’s true meaning. His work, however, is continually interrupted by visits from seductive Bainsley and Management’s son Bob. The film marks Terry Gilliam’s (Brazil, Twelve Monkeys) return to science-fiction. Terry Gilliam
Born in the USA, in 1940. He joined comedic group Monty Python first as animator and later as an official member. He debuted as a director alongside Terry Jones in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Among his better-known films are Brazil, nominated for an Academy Award for Best Screenplay; The Fisher King, nominated for five Academy Awards; Twelve Monkeys (1995), selected for Berlin; and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, featured in Cannes.
