Joachim Lafosse

Born in 1975 in Belgium. He directs in 2003 his first feature film, Folie Privée. In 2006, he is in competition at the Venice Film Festival with Private Property. He presented Private Lessons in the Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes in 2008 and After Love in the same section in 2016. Our Children (2012) was selected for Un Certain Regard, where Émilie Dequenne won the award for Best Actress. The Restless premiered at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.
