Cine Concerto in Tune with Animation

The second Cine Concerto of Festival do Rio took place Saturday, 15 October, at Estação NET Botafogo thanks to the support of the French Consulate in Rio and the Goethe-Institute


The  live performance was by percussionist Lan Lanh and guitarist Armando Macedo who accompanied the screening of nine animated short that have been curated by Marcos Magalhães. The program ran for 66 minutes.


The shorts included Furico & Fiofó (2011), Love Me Fear Me (2018), Les Trois Inventeurs (1980), Guida (2014), The Da Vinci Time Code (2009), Seiltänzer (1986), Fluxos (2014), La Demoiselle et le Violonceliste (1965) and Oktapodi (2007).
