Discover why the story of Cannes and everything that goes on around it, and has for the past eight decades, makes Cannes the world’s greatest film festival and is the story of cinema. Or perhaps you simply want to remember your own moments from past Cannes, both the sublime and the ridiculous. The documentary “Cannes Uncut” screens  for the final time on Friday at Kinoplex Sao Luiz 4 at 16.00.

Featuring Brazilian contributions from Festival do Rio director Ilda Santiago and award winning director Karim Aïnouz, alongside interviews with long-time Cannes’ General Delegate Thierry Frémaux; actress and Cannes regular Tilda Swinton; filmmakers Ken Loach, Lynne Ramsay, Oliver Stone, Mike Leigh and Mark Cousins; industry figures such as producers Jeremy Thomas, Christine Vachon and Shannon McIntosh; Participant Media CEO David Linde; former head of J&M Films Mike Ryan; and an array of journalists, publicists and industry insiders. Also featured are Wim Wenders, Lea Seydoux, Juliette Binoche, QuentinTarantino, Sharon Stone and many others associated with the festival across its history.
