Franco Nero and director Simone Petralia in Rio to support “Giorni Felici” (Happy Days)
The great Italian actor Franco Nero along with director Simone Petralia is presenting “Giorni Felici” (Happy Days) during Festival do Rio. Firstly at the Kinoplex Sāo Luiz 1 on Monday; then at Estação NET Rio 3 on Tuesday at 18.30; and finally at the Reserva Cultural Niteroi 1 on Wednesday at 18.45.
The drama tells the story of Margherita (played by Anna Galiena), an internationally renowned actress whose career is full of successes and prizes. She lives in Rome, and on the eve of a journey to Los Angeles, she is struck down by physical problems and diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Antonio, her ex-companion, offers to help her and the two of them, separated for many years, reconstruct their relationship through their suffering.
