Silvio Guindane’s cinebiography of the comedian and actor Carlinhos Mussum,  "Mussum, o filmis", which was the big winner at the Gramado Film Festival this year taking home the “Kikito” for best film and five other top prizes including best actor for Aílton Graça in the title role, had its hors concours gala screening in Rio Thursday at the Cine Odeon, with extra festival screenings on Saturday at 20.45 at Reserva Cultural Niteroi 1 and on Sunday at 16.30 at the Kinoplex Sao Luiz 2.

Mussum tells the life-story of Antônio Carlos Bernardes Gomes, going way beyond the Mussum well-known to the  Brazilian public: his poverty-stricken childhood, his military career, his relationship with Mangueira, his musical success with Originais do Samba, besides the behind the scenes of the TV show Os Trapalhões where his character — Mussum — became a household name in Brazil.
