Tell It Like a Women
Producer Chiara Tilesi, who was one of the “Women in Film” panelists on Thursday presented “Tell It Like A Woman” on Friday at Kinoplex Sao Luiz 2. There are still a chance to view the film after the festival on 18 October at Estação NET Botafogo 1 at 16.30.
The film is composed of seven short stories, directed by eight female directors and starring seven well known actresses. Shot all over the world, the film is an anthology whose common denominator is the representation of female protagonists. Each of them faces a particular challenge in their life. It is produced in association with “We Do It Together”, the nonprofit film production company whose mission is to tell stories about women, by women. The film was nominated for Best Original Song at this year’s Academy Awards..
