Première Brazil showcases a plethora of recent Brazilian audiovisual production. In 2013, 72 titles are being screened between long and short, features and documentaries that are split in to a number of categories including Competitive, Portraits, Music, Hors Concours and New Directions.

The films competing for the Redentor Trophy chosen by the official jury composed of national and international filmmakers, and which can be elected by popular vote as best feature film, documentary and short film.
